Self drive uganda was founded in 2009 by Billy ssali and his colleagues. Konde moses, kalevu Nsinjo Deogratias, Kaffero Edward, Lukyamuzi Godfrey, Makonzi micheal, all fresh bloods from makerere University, local residents in uganda Billy originally loved adventure since his childhood so after doing a lot of guidd tours to various touristic places around East african,under Active african vacations,he came up with the idea which led to the birth of new travel package which allows self guided tours to clients who wish to enjoy the freedom of self driving tours.
Billy Ssali is an ambitious entrepreneur and his original focus for the business was to increase the opportunities for budget travelers in Uganda, Rwanda and the surrounding areas. Over the years the business has expanded and now has a range of vehicles from game viewers to fully equipped 4×4’s Rav4s asmall utility vehicle for self-drive adventures.(SUV)
